Training Your Dog May Be Affected By Breed

Everyone knows that dog training varies with each dog or puppy. Some are harder to train, others are incredibly easy. The dog's breed can have a lot to do with how hard or easy it is to train them, so you should be aware of the characteristics of the breed you intend to bring into your home.
Some breeds of dog tend to be more intelligent than others, which definitely lends a hand in training. The faster your dog or puppy can connect behaviors with words, the faster they will perform tricks or break bad habits. There are lots of generic dog training videos out there, but not many really pertain to a particular breed. Therefore, you will not have certain characteristics highlighted for you (stubbornness, hyperactivity, desire to please, and others). Vince Stead has taken on a rather large task, and is creating specified dog training books; custom to each breed of dog. He already has several, but not quite all of the breeds. Of course, it is going to take time for an individual writer to put out hundreds of training books. If anyone here has a new puppy, you might want to look at the books he has to see if any pertain to your puppy's breed. They are rather cheap (digital download), so you will definitely be saving a lot of money.

  1. I checked out the books on Amazon from Vince Stead, there is over 100 books of different dogs on Amazon in paperback for $12.99 each, and digital downloads for $4.99 each, and most basic and hard to find breeds is their.
